The new camera has arrived. Here is the first photo taken with it - my handsome husband, James. He is, as you can probably sense from this picture, a rather reluctant model but finds it hard to say no to me!
This was taken in our living room, with an off-camera flash fired through a shoot-through umbrella. When I look at this picture in a year's time, I guess it is the background that will annoy me most. Next on the shopping list is a backdrop stand and a roll of black paper and a roll of white so that I can take studio shots in my living room. But for now, I'm happy with the photo - even if James isn't quite as happy about his modelling role!
